Philosophy of Care
Kevin uses empathy, transparency, and humor to communicate effectively with his patients, as he believes the single most important aspect of successful medical treatment is a trusting patient-provider relationship. He works with patients to develop individualized and evidence-based care plans and strategies to manage complex conditions and situations. Kevin has a strong desire to help improve the quality of life and functionality of his patients, and develops his care around those primary goals.

Prior to joining our practice, Kevin worked in Family Medicine, working with patients of all ages to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions of all body systems, including psychiatric conditions. This experience, which exposed him to the undeniable link between physical and mental health conditions, was invaluable to his holistic approach to behavioral health care as a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatric PA.

While he works with patients of all ages, demographics, and psychiatric conditions, he has a special passion for managing ADHD, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders, and for working with individuals of marginalized communities/backgrounds. Kevin’s personal interests include cooking, comedy, playing tabletop/video games, attending and volunteering for fan conventions, caring for his pets, singing, and playing tenor saxophone.
