Christopher Poulakos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Christopher received his bachelor’s degree from Elmhurst College in both Psychology and Criminal justice. He then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Christopher works with adolescents and adults ages 12+ to navigate various life difficulties. Christopher works with clients having difficulty in managing anxiety, depression, life-transitions, low self-esteem, and grief. He prides himself in using a compassionate approach rooted in evidenced based methods to uniquely develop a plan to promote change and growth. Christopher most commonly uses the following therapeutic modalities to aid clients: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
